Tasmania JackJumpers Podcast | Episode 3
Welcome to Episode 3 of Tasmanian Takeover, brought to you by The Basketball Fix!
In this episode, we highlight our new microsite at beacons.ai/tasmaniantakeover and share condolences for Roy Quaden and Nick Smith, the sailors lost in the Sydney to Hobart. We also dive into some lighthearted banter, including a story about Brother Clint’s mail mishap.
In the Nest on Notice segment, we discuss Josh Adams’ signing with the Bullets and cover the news of ‘The Terror’ being fined $1,500, along with PJC receiving a 5-game suspension.
In Ants Attack, we recap the Brisbane Bullets’ matchup at MyState Arena, where the JackJumpers secured a 95-86 win. Milton Doyle was the standout performer with 23 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal. It was a complete team effort, with The Doctor and Majok Deng stepping up big. Seany Mac dominated the Development player battle, and the MyState home-court advantage was once again a difference-maker.
Looking ahead, we preview the upcoming game against South East Melbourne at MyState on January 5. It’s shaping up to be a tough matchup, especially given their previous victory over the JackJumpers at the Silverdome. However, with MyState’s advantage and the team on a roll, both Berto and JD are backing the JackJumpers to come out on top.
