After winning five of six games and appearing to solidify their playoff positioning, the Bullets have managed just one win in their last five outings. This alarming downturn has sparked legitimate concerns about their postseason hopes.

Despite missing only Tyrell Harrison, the Bullets looked completely out of sync and were overwhelmed by their opponent. The depth at the center position is particularly concerning. Rocco Zikarsky hasn't developed as the team hoped and Josh Bannan, while talented, is undersized for the role. Additionally, key contributors like Deng Adel, Keandre Cook and Isaac White have underperformed during this critical stretch.

This collapse is even more perplexing considering the dominant play of star forward Casey Prather. He posted another impressive double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, but even his efforts couldn't keep the Bullets competitive against the South East Melbourne Phoenix—a team missing their star guard, Derek Walton Jr, for most of the game.

The Bullets' fourth-quarter meltdown was especially alarming. They were outscored 36-18 in the final frame, turning a manageable deficit into a blowout.
